Ya know, read, comment, make me update, or ignore me.
Also, the last post I plan on writing on xanga should mention; I'm married!
I have a hot wife and she likes me and we're going to adventure for forever together.

I'm still madly in love!

So another week, another song. Today begins - more technically yesterday began - a week long vacation to be spent with my family and my Fiancée, a beautiful time indeed. Yesterday didn't feel like vacation because I drove 350 miles and saw a Radiohead concert, yeah it was incredible, and so when we got home last night at 2:30 I was fairly dead and crashed hard. Into a pillow; not with my car.
But today is a wonderful day of reading some Oscar Wilde, going to visit my old place of employment, creativity, laziness, laundry; and all these plans are subject to change because there is not one thing that has to be done today on any sort of deadline.
I did miss out on Steve Wozniak coming into MacAuthority this morning; that would have been cool.
But honestly, I don't care at all. I'm in Birmingham. Freya arrives tomorrow. I'm with my family. I am happy.
How it Ends
by Devotchka
Hold your grandmother’s bible to your breast
Gonna put it to the test
You wanted it to be blessed
And in your heart
You know it to be true
You know what you gotta do
They all depend on you
And you already know
Yet you already know
How this will end
There is no escape
From the slave catcher’s songs
For all of the loved ones gone
Forever’s not so long
And in your soul
They poked a million holes
But you never let them show
Come on its time to go
And you already know
Yet you already know
How this will end
Now you’ve seen his face
And you know that there’s a place in the sun
For all that you’ve done
For you and your children
No longer shall you need
You always wanted to believe
Just ask and you’ll receive
Beyond your wildest dreams
And you already know
Yet you already know
how it will end.Currently Listening: How It Ends

scratched out observations at Centennial yesterday
And these dramatic seas above
are adrift with careful fury -
whitecaps on a glass surface -
meanwhile 138 max capacity subs
are cleared for takeoff and
disappear into the tranquil depths
evacuating the coming turmoil
meanwhile a kite like a fish
like a butterfly like a bird
thrashes to escape its captor
some shallow seaweed or
some harrowed tree.

a song
This song doesn't have much bearing on my life at the moment... I've just claimed what I love; not lost it. But this song woos my heart and continues to play again and again on my iPod, so I thought I'd post the lyrics. Although I still find that the second verse applies when I'm around my love... That's why I have to write things down quite often.
Blessing in Disguise
Devotchka
Is losing something that you love
a blessing in disguise
who comes and goes into our life
not for us to decide
You can bury them deep inside
but you can never hide
You waited for them long enough
It's time to say goodbye
O my lordy O my god
I finally see what's going on
I count the fingers that you made me
Am I squandering the life you gave me
I never seem to find the words
the devil ties my tongue
Then I find the perfect words
the moment you have gone
Are we still lovers we'll never be friends
Is this all there is? Is this where it ends?
Was it fate? Was it games of chance?
Are we victims of the circumstances
O my lordy.......
Bend your words into a prayer
send them on a trip some where
Let them ring and resonate
Kiss your lips and seal my fate
maybe losing something
that you love is a blessing in disguise
you've been their slave for far too long
It's time to say goodbyeCurrently Listening: A Mad and Faithful Telling
